• Built linear regression model to predict home prices in Ames, Iowa. I placed 41out of 90 in this competition.• Predicting a footballers market value. I analyzed over 14,000 professionalplayers using over 90 attributes for each player. While working on this project Ilearned to use the ensemble method including Random forest and ExtremelyRandomized trees, along with a grid search. The data visualization mainlyconsisted of Seaborn, but I also used MatplotLib and Plotly• Using Vader for sentiment analysis. Using a scrapping function I was able togather 10,000 post from each subreddit: the football(soccer) subreddit and thenfl subreddit. I was able to understand which group was more positive in theirpostings. I also was able to find what political issues were being discussed in thesport.

My day to day responsibilities included supervision of staff, scheduling incoming loads, managing payroll, overseeing work organized by team leaders, timely dispatching of goods, and overall organization of 150,000 square foot warehouse. On average we received 2,000 kitchen cabinets per week, and it was my responsibility to schedule the loads and process damage or loss reports monthly. There were 17 independent contractors that delivered these cabinets to private residences, new residences, and/or businesses. I trained them in loading the cabinets to minimize damages, how to use equipment provided, safety procedures upon delivery, and verifying delivery load was 100%. I also dealt with more personal issues such as recruitment, training, and discipline of staff. In the two years with Fast Mile Inc., I went through three different General Managers and was therefore seen as the leader of the DC by my peers and contractors. We won awards such as "least damages,” and I was awarded “Employee of the Year” for 2014.

As night shift leader, I was responsible for all inbound trailers being processed and palletized, while maintaining cooperate standards. My team of 28 received a weekly report where pallet quality and pro count had to meet the 98% and 95% goals every week. I also performed customer service when representatives from our vendors came by the warehouse, increasing customer satisfaction and retention.
