Project: Integrated simulation model of the Ecopetrol value chain. (MIT).Functions and Achievements: 1. Technical and documentary assurance of the planning process of the value chain of ECOPETROL and its Business Group for the evacuation and transportation model of crude and refined products.2. Objective: Support the CFD simulation project about vegetable oils hydrotreating, developing research activities in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) - Ecopetrol Activities:1. Elaborate CFD simulations for the study of heat exchange in hydrotreating reactors with data support from Hysys and PROII simulations process. 2. CFD heat transfer coefficients evaluations to different proposal reactor designs.3. Make progress reports results.4. Post a scientific article in an indexed journal.5. Attendance the meetings in the research group Bioprocesses and Reactive Flows. 6. Visited the Ecopetrol plant refinery in Barrancabermeja.
