Coordinate the effort of the Open Systems team along with the strategic team across IBM Tape groups, Development, Project Manager, Test groups, Architects. Taking support decisions, working on client solutions, process improvement, increasing efficiency of the team by automation of test cases, developing new capabilities, diversifying the knowledge.Work to have positions with greater responsibility and increase technical influence and leadership in our portfolio.

Test plans coordination according to PMI methodology for IBM tape libraries TS2900, TS3100/TS3200, TS3310 and the LTO drives across all the Operating Systems, AIX, HP, Solaris, Windows, IBMi and Linux (p-Series, x-Series & z-Series)

I was working at IBM Campus Guadalajara thru Grupo Apro, for the project RMSS TEST LAB, in this project I have been travel to Arizona, for IBM training on all tape product (IBM tape library) that IBM develop, I have experience working with SAN using FC switches as Cisco, Brocade, McData and CNT, also with SAS and SCSI protocols, in those trips I received different type of training courses for the new IBM products.I had the opportunity to set up the SAN for the Open system team, using 2 FC brocade switches, the ones that I had to upgrade the microcode, debug and solve all the problems that they had and installed them, the open system SAN consists in 5 IBM tape libraries (2 TS3200, 2 TS3100 and 1 3494), 5 different servers (HP, Linux p-Series, Linux x-Series, AIX and Windows), I was responsible to the SAN and servers maintenance.I tested all the new microcode release for the IBM tape libraries, IBM driver, IBM device driver and all the new and current operation system for AIX and the new linux flavors and service packs for linux z-Series. I certified all the different types of host bus adapter for these platforms.

My inter was at IBM Campus Guadalajara in the Networks & Voice support team for the project IGS IT NDS, this project had a period of 6 months, starting on July 22, 2005 and finish on January 22, 2006. During the inter I performed support activities such as, working on network incidents environment, user support, one of the main opportunities that I had during my internship was to participate in the network migration of the campus, from Token Ring to Ethernet

Social service in as technical support for the first 6 months and in telecommunication area for the additional 6 months at CUCEA coordinacion de tecnologías del aprendizaje (CTA). In these areas I had the opportunity to worked solving problems from the network, telephony and hardware reported by the user.
