-Supporting with OUDI-sponsored and co-sponsored event planning, execution, and coordination such as monthly Diversity Partners Network (DPN) meetings, HSI Symposium, Teach In, and more.-Supporting intern management of hourly timesheets, intern event sign-up sheets, program expense tracking sheet, and office hour calendar scheduling.-Delegate tasks to interns to ensure they are completed on time and efficiently.-Ensure interns are following the OUDI Intern Manual and office maintenance protocol.-Conduct bi-weekly check-ins with interns to provide guidance and support in their roles.-Facilitate intern staff meetings when professional staff are out of the office.-Support administrative functions of the office by using the preferred office communication and management platforms such as Outlook, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel, etc.-Acting as the Office liaison which can include boothing, guest speaking, and leading office/campus tours.-Serving as an ambassador during campus student recruitment visits and local community events.

• Co-coordinate the Transfer Academic Coaching Program, including the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of transfer academic coaches• Act as a liaison between Cal Poly Scholars and the Office of Writing and Learning to assist in the development of the Scholar Transfer Community for students chosen to participate in Transfer Academic Coaching.• Implement and enhance the Transfer Academic Success Program (TASP)• Act as a liaison between the Transfer Center and the Office of Writing and Learning by attending weekly desk shifts and educational support events scheduled by both units• Coordinate pro-active academic support outreach and events for the incoming transfer cohort in collaboration with both Transfer Center and Writing and Learning professional staff• Co-coordinate weekly staff meetings with transfer academic coaching team

-Welcome and check in guests, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience.-Manage reservations and room assignments using hotel management software.-Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.-Process check-outs and handle transactions accurately.-Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for timely room preparation and issue resolution.-Provide local recommendations and personalized guest services.-Maintain front desk operations, including phone management and mail distribution.

Build community and belonging among a group of new first-year Scholars as they navigate life at Cal Poly. Hold 1:1’s or group gatherings with mentees, provide social and academic support for mentees throughout the year.
