Raising Our Kid's in Today's Racial Climate was a PhotoVoice project that explored how the double pandemic (systemic racism and COVID-19) and other external factors influenced parents’ decision-making around raising children and how this differed by race. The Jikinge (Kiswahili for “protect yourself”) project is a mixed-methods, cluster randomized clinical trial among approximately 2,000 high-risk HIV negative women in the Nyanza region of western Kenya. The study seeks to determine the effectiveness of secondary distribution of HIV self-tests in promoting male partner testing, facilitating safer sexual behaviors, and ultimately reducing incident HIV infections among women.-Developed codebook to analyze follow-up interviews for HIV self-testing kit study-Coded 40+ interviews with women sex workers about their self-testing experience and encouraging sexual partners to test
