Asked to take on a completely new role, I stepped into the position of Director of Business Intelligence and single-handedly built Mecum’s Business Intelligence division. Leveraging my expertise in IT, I currently implement technology-driven processes to collect and analyze business data and share findings with all business units and stakeholders.✴️ PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS✅ Informed long-term business strategy and enhanced executive decisions by building data collection, analysis, modeling, and reporting processes for each of Mecum’s 4 sales divisions.—Introduced key reporting metrics.—Developed 360-view of customers with sales history database. —Analyzed geospatial and demographic data to determine target customers and then tested conclusions in conjunction with Digital Marketing.✅ Utilized Einstein Analytics to prevent or detect and mitigate fraudulent/money-laundering activities. Created system that updated purchasing history every 15 minutes while tracking data for internal company use.✅ Developed customer surveys and collected quantitative and qualitative data to improve business strategy; survey findings sparked significant improvements to Mecum’s “Gold Member” program, enhancing customer satisfaction. ✅ Reduced online fraud by improving the registration process for the bidding system. Recommended purchase parameters and limits that directly correlated to financial data gathered during registration.✅ Developed system within Salesforce to send leads, prospects, and post-sales reporting to Mecum’s financial services division, helping to answer data-related questions and inform division strategy for in-house loan provider.
