• Designed the DAQ for a PhD student’s experiment on GDL compression, selecting and preparing the instruments for incorporation into their apparatus. • Tested and documented the team’s DAQ hardware, identifying malfunctioning pieces and recommending future acquisitions that would improve the team’s capabilities . • Engineered flexible VIs and guides to expedite future students’ experiments by reducing the learning curve previously imposed by the DAQ hardware available. • Developed a LabVIEW interface for the team’s Fibre Bragg Gratings, consolidating their DAQ instrument’s software into one program.

• Completed optimization studies that further improved the anode catalyst layer of Ballard’s fuel cell design in performance with both pure and reformate hydrogen.• In response to the industry’s increased interest in methanol, conducted a study exploring the impacts of using reformate methanol as a fuel source with the findings eventually being submitted to the ECS.• Fabricated membrane electrode analyses, installed these into test stations, subjected these to tests, analyzed the data and presented the results to the group.

Ottawa, On

• Devised an additional feature to the Radio Network Controller (RNC) testing processwhich could immediately parse through a test file and estimate pertinent stats for comparing against the final test. • Developed the RNC testing tool in a UNIX environment with the principles of OOP.
