A member of the Build Leadership team focused on building strong architects and amazing products for our clients. I have led multiple discoveries to understand and design the future architecture for two major players in the digital streaming space. I have also led multiple discoveries and build phases to re-platform monolithic applications into maintainable and scalable serverless platforms. I also own and manage the Denver Build Modern Web Capability; getting engineers excited and engaged in the latest and greatest in the frontend engineering space.

Design, develop, and deliver software solutions for numerous companies in varying industries. I love to partner with a company, learn their struggles, and become part of the solution. I am a proponent of PEM. I specialize in modern frontend development using React and Angular. I design and build performant and scalable .net core, node, and java micro-services. I worked as a lead software engineer on two teams, maintaining four greenfield product using .Net Core Microservices, Docker, Angular 5.X, React, and Bootstrap 3.7/4. I designed and maintain their .net core microservice architecture and support it for the organization. I lead the “skunkworks” architecture team and have created two products in my spare time on this team. I designed and implemented a Search service using Elasticsearch and ETL. I built and maintain several internal applications that help support and deploy the platform. I designed and implemented a CI/CD deployment strategy in Visual Studio Online (VSTS). My team helped define and implement the GitFlow branching strategy in GIT. I very am proud of the fact that I helped created the most performant and highest quality team in the engineering department. When I am not building new features; I mentor other developers and participate in road-map meetings with the core and architecture teams. I also helped define and maintain our development process while implementing several organization wide changes such as Team Servers, Team & Feature Branches, as well as refined the deployment process.

I fulfilled senior software engineer with lead and architecture responsibilities. We maintained a stack which includes an AngularJS frontend, two .Net Core RC1 services and an internal WebApi service used for content delivery. When I am not mentoring developers; I split my time up between frontend and architectural work. During my time at Ria; I brought in proper logging, more standardized restful services, various base angularjs components, proper application structures, generic global error handling, client-side content management services, and more traditional DI patterns. Outside of the development stack; I helped migrate the team to GIT, organize and run various scrum ceremonies, as well as assist in management of branches and releases.

My responsibilities included mentoring developers, defining best practices, release planning, and ensuring high code quality with 80% (or better) code coverage. I was in the architecture committee and defined timelines for infrastructure enhancements. I designed and implemented the advanced branching model and release structure using TFS 2013 and Microsoft Release Management. This included nightly builds, continuous integration, gated check-ins, gated releases, and project structure/coding standards. I also mentored team members in best practices and helped career progression. In the short time I was at Chipotle, I changed their release requirements, code quality, and what they consider "clean" and "elegant" code.While I was at Chipotle, I created a couple of essential infrastructure components such as: - Google Maps Search API: RESTful service (webapi) for using Google Maps Geolocation - Generic Repository: Generic Repository that can use MongoDB or Entity Framework - Environment Monitor: Monitors environments as services are deployed to ensure stability

I was part of a New Development group responsible for a client facing MVC4 Bootstrap application. I took part in various architectural discussions and decisions while helping to set standards for application development. I helped mentor new developers and ensure code pushes and releases contained quality code with minimal risk. I was also a part of several other development teams which are still on an ASP.NET C# platform but with a more advanced MVC/MVVM pattern. I also helped to standardize some of the development processes and have shown to increase the speed and quality of more than one project in the company.

I built and maintained client facing applications on the new product development team for new business ventures in the account opening market. Technologies include ASP.NET, WCF Services, and restful services. I was part of the architecture committee and have instituted a MVC design pattern in one of the ASP.NET applications. I began working on enhancements and performance work on a data warehouse application written in ASP.NET which then was handed off to a development team to maintain.

I lead the .Net Development group and architecture group. I built and maintained several front end systems in WPF, ASP.NET, and Windows Services for use with a backend library based loan processing platform. Built and maintained loan aggregation platform using C# 4.0 leveraging multi-threaded and Parallel Processing based data loading. I was also responsible for transferring data roles from the old legacy system over to my new platform and training the team on the new responsibilities for the new platform. Processing times went from hours to minutes across data feeds as large as 28 million records by 600+ columns per monthly feeds. At the time of my departure, our product had over a billion rows of monthly data which was used on trade desks for bond investments. I was also responsible for seeking talent and creating a development team of which I managed. We followed the scrum methodology.

I worked on several internal web services, framework, and web applications for multiple banking institutions. My primary roles as web development using ASP.NET C# on several internal clients. Responsible for several in house WinForm applications which have continued development and maintenance needs. My responsibilities also included maintaining and updating framework objects and database views / stored procedures.

I wrote various database backed applications for use with a new voice platform. I write grammar/grxml compilation software, voice file distribution and recording applications. I often write various ASP.NET applications for other departments to use as maintenance tools.

Maintained web content, as well as generating various logos and web based coding.  Web based development and Graphic Design were my primary responsibilities.

Technical support for two accounts at IBM:  JP Morgan Chase and Lucent Technologies.  Wrote IE Toolbar addons to help employees configure VPN and Tunnels
