All her life, Carolyn has gravitated toward anything that allowed her to design and create so it was no surprise when she choose graphic design as a career.She started her career in this exciting field by working as a typesetter for Sterling Press in St. John's, Newfoundland. There, she not only set type, she designed magazine layouts and ads, and prepared files to be printed onto film. This led her to enroll in College of the North Atlantic where she earned a diploma in Graphic Design and graduated at the top of her class receiving the President's Award for Academic Excellence.Upon leaving College of the North Atlantic, Carolyn worked as the head graphic designer for Golfmax Inc. It's with Golfmax, where she teamed with programmers to create interactive online marketing applications for golfers and golf courses. As the Golfmax website service manager, she has worked directly with clients to design website templates that were fused with a content management system. Carolyn stayed with Golfmax for 10 years before accepting the postition of Graphic Designer / Web Manager at Atlantic Business Magazine and Natural Resources Magazine and was promoted to Art Director in 2019.Carolyn lives in Paradise (no really, that's the name of the town) in Newfoundland, Canada with her husband Neil, son Thomas and their dog named Jane Austen.Specialties: Graphic design for both print and web, HTML/CSS authoring, Social media management
