Five years of hands-on experience working with eMASS, specifically in the areas of validating hundreds of NIST 800-53 security controls, updating system security plans, and creating and remediating POA&Ms to address open vulnerabilities. Moreover, I possess extensive proficiency in overseeing the coordination process involved in acquiring completed Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists from system administrators for a wide range of devices, encompassing desktops, servers, switches, and printers. These checklists serve as substantiating evidence within eMASS, crucial for attaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) for our base's NIPR and SIPR enclaves.Furthermore, I have been responsible for generating vulnerability management presentations based on ACAS reports and delivering comprehensive briefings to leadership on effectively addressing the most critical hosts on the base. This approach aims to significantly reduce the WVI score in anticipation of the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI).Moreover, my proficiency extends to leveraging DoD and AF policies to effectively mitigate diverse scenarios, encompassing incident response, DLP incidents, ensuring proper procurement of authorized IT equipment, and handling various other operational challenges.
