With over 10 years of work experience in the public sector, I am a passionate and dedicated Immigration Services Officer at USCIS with collateral duty as the Congressional Liasion for Reno and Las Vegas field office, where I apply my expertise in immigration and legislative analysis to facilitate communication and collaboration between the agency and members of Congress and their staff. I have a strong background in criminal justice, leadership, and law enforcement. I have worked as a supervisory forensic specialist/correctional officer and a labor-management committee member for the State of Nevada and as a sergeant and a mission control coordinator at the Nevada Army National Guard. I have also earned multiple certifications, including a peace officer certification and an MBA degree.
