Reporting to the Director and is responsible for devising and executing the procurement strategy for all logistics in Qatar as well as overseeing the performance of logistics and distribution service providers. The Manager, Supply Chain manages the relationship between Franchisees and vendors with regards to logistics needs. The Manager, Supply Chain closely interacts with Safety and Quality Assurance team. Responsible for negotiating on behalf of Burger King , Applebee’s and Café Vergnano essential deals. Also responsible for new contry entries, ensuring product supply, finding local suppliers and managing the negotiation process. Global ProcurementsResponsibilities:• Develop logistics strategy for Qatar.• Devise and execute the regional strategy for logistics• Lead negotiations with Suppliers in the region on behalf of Franchisees• Identify and develop new logistics providers• Manage the relationship between Franchisees and logistics vendors• Work with Franchisees to identify cost reduction opportunities• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team on the assessment of logistics providers• Initiate and coordinate competitive bidding process• Achieve best value/cost supplier agreements and contracts• Deliver accurate Market insights• Select right partners/suppliers to maintain long sustainable agreements• Assist other company areas as Marketing, Business Standards, Quality Assurance, etc. with continuous supplier interlocution• Maintain Category strategy plan by updating it with raw material market evolution and cost components• Ensure new contries entries supply by extending existing agreements and finding alternatives as local suppliers or introducing new supplier in the market• Conduct negotiation round launching LTO and demanding competitive offers.
