This followed several years of flip flopping back and forth between direct and distributor priorities. The consequence of this was that by 2015 most of the distributor segment did not trust Ammeraal that we would stick to one strategy. Chad was recruited from a completely unrelated market. He joined with zero knowledge of the belting business and little experience in Industrial Sales. By November of 2018 Chad had not only become a vital part of our success, he was well known and respected by all of our key distributors, he worked directly with the Ammeraal Senior Leadership team, and he was known and respected by our board; actually being invited to several important board meetings when we were presenting channel strategy. Chad is one of those very unique talents who brings a combination of work ethic, practical business intelligence, and above average people skills to his job. Chad took ownership of our sales situation east of the Mississippi river and worked tirelessly to reestablish trust and relationships with channel. When we went to our first North America Belting Association meeting as a team in 2016, few distributors would meet with us. By 2018, most distributors in his region were making renewed commitments to make Ammeraal a preferred supplier to them. In our transformation from 2016 to 2018, Chad was one of our strongest ambassadors. He enjoyed a very solid following by our sales people, customer service, and operations staff and he was a vital conduit to gaining buy in throughout the organization. His enthusiasm for our cultural changes and his personal involvement in seeing it successful was crucial to where we brought the business by the end of 2018. Chad puts the mission of the organization first, he follows through, and he always does what he says he will do.
