In my role at the Kerr YMCA, I oversaw 1 full-time leader and over 30 part-time staff. I oversaw 2 in school programs (traditional and outreach) and 3 out of school programs (Year round track out camp, holiday camp, and summer camp). My programs served over 300 families. Working with school programs, camps, and outreach programs. I oversaw staff trainings, parent engagement, member retention, and all schedule management to coordinate and effective build strong teams I started at the YMCA of the Triangle in August of 2013 at the Kerr YMCA as a counselor. I have been given multiple opportunities to improve and grow my coaching and leadership style, and have seen our revenue increase because of the work of my team and my direct leadership. I have worked with a team of 4 directors to help start new summer day camps successfully, generated new revenue streams, increased enrollment, and managed an operating budget of $3 million.

In this part time position, I am utilized my passion for people and service to lead, coach, train, and serve youth and adults to grow spiritually and holistically. I helped grow our volunteer leadership team from 2 to 15 through recruiting, training, and event planning/management.

While earning my masters degree in higher education leadership, I worked with men’s basketball. Duties included player development, scouting, academic support, coaching, community engagement.

In Clinton, MS, I was fortunate enough to work as a personal trainer. I developed personalized fitness programs, engaged members and helped members to achieve their goals. I supervised our wellness floor and greeted members to ensure they felt welcomed, included, and supported. Programs included traditional resistance exercise programs, cardio-respiratory training, flexibility training, balance training, core training, and HIIT programs.
