Executive staff position reporting directly to the Founder/CEO, and part of the Marketing and Program Management team working in alignment with the International Program Director, Education Director and Sales and Marketing Director. Responsible for strategically managing, creating, and implementing new programs and leading the design, expansion, and management of transformational program growth. Through the implementation of strategy and creative programmatic initiatives, working to provide an essential voice and visibility to all ISV programs. Primary activities involve planning, outreach and promotion, program management and the implementation of new initiatives. These projects include collaborations with university study abroad programs, university professors, international education programs, volunteer organizations and other organizations regionally and nationally.

Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia

Management and supervision of all volunteer and tour programs in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, including staff and volunteers. Enhancement of the overall effectiveness of the ISV program in SE Asia. Management and development of effective partnerships and professional networks, host organisations and tour operators including the negotiation of contractual agreements, monitoring participant and field staff feedback, developing resource materials, budgets, and training programs.Primary adviser to the International Program Director and outbound office staff in California and Australia on all program-related matters. Plan, direct or coordinate the Australasian training logistics for projects and host organizations.

South Africa

Facilitated the development of new volunteer programs. Program development including but not limited to editing participant, project and tour leader manuals, project overviews, training manuals, resource manuals, newsletters and social media. Managed and evaluated projects in the areas of community development, youth development, wildlife conservation and resource management. Volunteer support.

Australia

Lead groups of university students on conservation and community development projects. Develop lesson plans, facilitated group discussions, organized interpretive activities and evaluated field journals.

Tillamook, Oregon

Researched congressional proposals, identified technical specialists and expert speakers and drafted policy recommendations for federal forest lands advisory committee. GIS data inventory, analysis and cartographic design for the management of state lands. Forest lands habitat analysis, stand level inventory analysis, and land use planning.
