Over the past 20+ years, I have been on a journey of growth, transformation, and success in business, working for Apex Wireless and the Westlund Group of Companies. My career is the quintessential story of starting from the bottom and rising through the ranks.🏢 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:I was introduced to the mobility industry by a friend while looking for a part time job before entering post-secondary school. I began at the grassroots level working the retail showroom floors. From selling Motorola flip phones to customers in the early 2000's, to managing some of TELUS's larger corporate accounts such as the RCMP, I feel I have experienced almost every aspect of the mobility side of the industry. Turns out I had fallen in love with sales and never ended up getting back to post-secondary school. Through some perseverance, continuous learning, and fostering a "people-first" approach, I progressed to leadership roles, driving company initiatives and inspiring teams to excel.💼 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽:Business is one of my passions and I enjoy the challenges that come with it, but I'm definitley more about the people. From creating growth strategies together with leadership, to exploring new and modern ways to do sales differently, I've been able to hone my leadership skills in driving our sales team to achieve results. I love working with peolple and I firmly believe that a successful leader is one who not only excels in business but also invests in the development and well-being of the individuals on their team.
