Technical Sales Engineer
Shimadzu enables my addiction to science! With my background as an environmental soil and water scientist, I am thrilled this role has allowed me to work with some of the leading researchers and laboratories in the Pacific Northwest on many adventures in environmental and analytical chemistry. But wait, there's more! My role with Shimadzu has also fostered my exploration of vast and new sceince markets such as pharma, food and beverage, cannabis, energy, emerging markets such as battery technology, and more familiar markets such as Agricultural chemistry. With Shimadzu, I get to be a POC for sales, a project management planner, a consultant, an email jockey, a number cruncher, a traveller, a teacher, AND a scientist. Being intertwined in so many different markets has helped me understand and appreciate the unity science can bring to society regardless of application. Shimadzu's corporate philosphy is, "Contributing to Society through Science and Technology". It's serendipitous my philosphy is the same.
