As the Graduate Assistant for Cross Country/Track, I am responsible for a vast majority of responsibilities, ranging from the Men's recruiting to daily practice monitoring. As a recruiter I am responsible for reaching out to potential student-athletes that may be a good fit for our program. I also play a major role in monitoring and coaching the athletes as I have been the lead coach at multiple running events. Here I am responsible for getting them there and back safely, as well as coordinating out race day so that all the athletes know when to be where throughout the day. As for day to day operations, I work alongside the Head and Assistant Coach, to perform daily operations that include VDot updates, result sheet updates, practice monitoring, recruiting filing, and recruit campus coordinator. Through this, I have gained more experience in communication, leadership, reliability, and team group work.

As an advisor, I helped students register and plan out their class schedules in order to keep them on track to graduate. My duties also involved watching the probationary students in order for them to maintain a healthy GPA and that they full-fill their probationary contract throughout the semester. I also acted as the professors assistant as I helped prep courses and tutored those that needed help on their coursework.

As an Intern at ITT Enidine, I worked in the Accounting/Finance department where I worked on multiple year long projects, financial statement analysis, and other ad hoc reports. Some other main points that I worked on as the Intern was to go through invoices, work on monthly credit card statements, organize and file data charts on account receivables while reaching out to clients, and also a lot of work making excel spreadsheets better and more useful for the department. Was able to develop great knowledge of Excel as I expanded my knowledge on formulas that contained Vlookups, sumIf statements, etc.

Oversaw a group of 10-15 campers up various Mountains and also led large running groups throughout the Lake Placid area. As a camp counselor I was also in charge of checking in on rooms and also organizing the Med room schedule so that there wasn't an overflow of campers trying to get in there to recover in the plunge pool or the leg sleeves. Two presentations to the campers were also a requirement as I gave them overall knowledge on running and how to be a better person as a whole.

Coming back for another Masters program was a tough decision, but ultimately it was done because I wanted to learn more about the sporting.
