- Senior CAD administrator responsible for the daily operation of the EMS Dispatch system serving half of Alberta.- Given initial high level vendor software architecture, lead the technical installation, architecture, and later the expansion of the Computer-Aided Dispatch System for EMS centres in Edmonton and Peace River.- Function as the senior applications analyst for the VoiP 911 system and backup digital and analog phone system,beginning with no prior knowledge or training in telephony.- Serve as a daily expert resource for the EMS business as well as I.T. peers to dissect business and technical problems and develop solutions to solve the root issue.- Lead development on multiple operational projects from conception to completion: resource gathering, design, resource planning, task delegation, staff mentorship and supervision of implementation.

I am a paid on-call firefighter with Parkland County Fire Services District 2. I have held the rank of Captain since July 2015. Duties include responding as needed to emergency calls and attend weekly training nights and weekend courses. I am also a NFPA certified level 1 instructor and teach parts of the 1001 curriculum on occasion in Parkland County.

I was a member of the Town of Westlock Volunteer Fire Department. My duties included responding to Fire and Medical First Response emergencies, attending weekly training and weekend courses. I served as a Lieutenant for a year before leaving the department.

- Took a 1 year leave of absence from the Information Services department to work for Diagnostic Imaging as their full-time project manager- Led a multi-million project to replace all film x-ray and diagnostic equipment with an electronic Picture and Archiving Communication System (PACS)- Responsible for developing a project charter, detailed budget plan, and project plan in order to obtain approval to proceed from senior management.- The project totaled over seven million dollars with a substantial amount coming from government funding. This required certain adherence to requirements and goals as well as constant communication between stakeholders throughout the project.- Had a staff complement of ten people, both clinical and technical, who either worked as part of the team or directly reported to me for the duration of the project. Their responsibilities ranged from training users, developing documentation and new clinical department processes, technical installation of required servers and workstations across a large geographic area.- My team was also spread across a large area so I needed to work within physical restrictions to still build a strong relationship among team members and ensure the project stayed on time and on budget.- Going into this large project I had almost no knowledge about the Diagnostic Imaging department or their business processes. I engaged stakeholders and researched the issues and developed a plan with the assistance of my team in a short period of time that we were able to have approval to proceed only a short six weeks later.
