I graduated from Wyoming East High School in 2016 with a 3.8 GPA. While in high school I attended an Electronics/Robotics trade school class from my sophomore year to my senior year. I graduated from that class with a 3.6 GPA and received a certification in Electronics and Robotics. After I graduated high school I enrolled in a new class called Advanced Manufacturing. This course combined the drafting and industrial classes to teach us AutoCAD, Inventor, and the basics of wiring control panels. While in Advanced Manufacturing, I was the project manager for the Archimedes Titan. This project was a delta 3D Printer that was designed and built from scratch by me and two other teammates. We made the parts using a CO2 laser cutter and a CNC mill. This project won us a gold medal at SkillsUSA state competition.I am currently a Sales Associate and Key Holder for Dollar General. My responsibilities as the Sales Associate are to check customers out and make sure the aisles are stocked with merchandise . My responsibilities as a Key Holder are to open and close the store, balance the drawers in the morning and at the end of the day, check in vendors, take care of any costumer complaint, and to act as the manager whenever the store manager or assistant manager is off duty. I have been working for Dollar General since August 2017.My goal is to get a job in the engineering field. I am mainly looking for a job as an electrical or mechanical design engineer or an electronics technician.
