I am a senior scientist, project manager, and business class lead for HDR's Fisheries program in Washington State. I lead an accomplished group of professionals that practice in the areas of fish passage, habitat restoration, fish culture, fisheries facility design, and aquatic science. I previously served as HDR's fisheries and aquatic sciences technical director. As a professional associate and senior scientist, I specialize in water quality, instream flow, aquatic life, and aquatic habitat assessment. I regularly engage in watershed planning, water resources and instream flow evaluation, nutrient studies, aquaculture studies, habitat restoration, hydropower studies, and mining studies. I regularly lead technical studies, developing monitoring plans and experimental designs, directing field work, and leading data analysis. I work on a variety of projects using my background in stream ecology, lake ecology, marine ecology, statistics, and experimental design.
