My career started right out of high school, when I took my first job in the oil and gas industry. I was a roustabout for a company call Loffland Brothers Drilling which lasted for a little over a year. I then left and went to do some turnaround work in the construction field with West-Cal Construction at Olin refinery in Lake Charles, La. These two job made me think about collage, so I signed up at McNeese State University, in the criminal justice field and stayed in until I was 32 hours away from graduating. Took a job at a local prison and didn't care for it too much, it was like I was in prison and not the inmates. I then took another job back in the construction field with Serv-Tech and have never looked back. Started there as a helper and finished my career there as a lead operator. Serv-Tech was a company that led me all over this great country of ours and to some that wasn't. I took a lot in and worked with some of the best people in this field. The hard work paid off, once I left the company had been bought out twice and a lot of the good people had left and went to other company's, which open a lot of doors for me. Once a person figures out that what he or she has learned and can be confidant in his or her self the opportunities or endless. I took that confidence and some advice from a co-worker and friend and went on a different path in outside sales in hydraulics and from this and a little help from god, I am a proud co-owner of Hydra-Lube Inc, which is a fast growing business in the industrial and power generation community.
