Responsible for the support and strategic direction of Actuarial, Risk, Reinsurance, Legal & Compliance systems for Genworth.

• Responsible for the Financials platforms for Genworth Globally – General Ledger, Wire Disbursement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Forecasting, Budgeting, Planning, Account Reconciliations, Tax, Statutory Reporting etc… o Set strategic direction and lead a team of 15 associates and 20+ contractors while managing $10MM in technology spend in a challenging business environment characterized by limited budgets, constrained resources and lengthy sets of business needs. o Effectively managed staff by improving collaboration with the business, confronting tough issues, and creating a positive work environment in which people could succeed. Provided training and certification to associates and improved employee engagement and satisfaction resulting in a team that attracts talent rather than one that had been difficult to recruit into. o Systematically improved performance on key processes over 3 years by reducing the amount of time required by 50% each year. o Managed Strategic vendor account resulting in year over year savings of $500k/year since 2009.• 2009-2010.
