Principally, my focuses are on program reimbursement, payment/delivery system changes, and other policies influencing insurance coverage in the US. My team and I also serve as subject matter experts on healthcare reform and state/federal healthcare programs broadly, representing Lilly's perspectives to internal and external customers. I was also assigned to a cross-functional team focused Lilly Immunology's biosimilar strategy, where I focused on stakeholder impacts of various levels of adalimumab biosimilar adoption. My team also conducted market research aimed at understanding the customer engagement and market access imperatives needed to successfully enter a space defined by established competitors. This work produced the recommendation and initial design for a new customer-facing Key Account Management (KAM) organization supporting Lilly's burgeoning Immunology portfolio by establishing relationships with population health decisionmakers and administrators in health systems, private equity and independent GI "supergroups" and alternate sites of care, including infusion providers and specialty pharmacies. Leveraging customer, field and internal feedback, I assembled a team that re-engineered the brand's opportunity to reach customers via Group Purchasing Organizations.I also developed the overall Medicare market access strategy, including HCPCS coding and CMS engagement.
