Responsibilities and Achievements- Established the DAS subchapter, Data Science Enabling Technologies, recruiting the initial members and aligning its strategic roadmap for the organization’s overall objectives.- Guided the team to develop and enhance an advanced analytics platform enabling business analysts, data engineers, product developers, and data scientists the ability to accelerate working with the product data.- Have built an open collaborative culture throughout our chapter in collaboration with my fellow subchapter leads.- Worked with stakeholders to drive adoption of the data platform and to align roadmaps across Roche products- Kept the teams aware of technology trends while pushing them to consider new innovative ways of providing solutions.- Guided the chapter in continuously improving our way of working to drive more efficient delivery of the platform and to improve our stakeholder experiences.

Responsibilities and Achievements- Responsible for the overall architecture of a platform that provides servicesto import data from hospital information systems, enables data drivenworkflows, standardizes data structures, provides functionality to enrich thequality of the data, and enforces data security and privacy.- Work with product teams to help them design their final solutions whileassisting to drive the platform backlog and roadmap.- Provide initial designs for new features and services to the teams and workwith the teams to see the features developed through to production.- Prototype and build the initial version of new systems for the platform.- Provide support to resolve issues with the platform found in production.

- Designing of subsystems for an on-premise and cloud-based data science platform for both internal Philips businesses and external healthcare businesses.- Responsible for the overall approach to security of the platform from the container host up through all of the platform applications and services.- Providing final feature designs and functioning proof of concepts to the product scrum teams.- Driving the product backlog for the infrastructure services for the platform.- Provide technical guidance to scrum teams throughout the software lifecycle.

- Responsible for architecting cloud-based services for a healthcare platform that provides the building blocks for the development of continuous health and personal care solutions. Personal focus was on services and solutions for centralizing identity, data security and privacy, data integration, data storage and remote application support. - Built out and over saw up to 7 scrum teams in the continuous delivery of the foundation services of the platform.- Maintained the product roadmap and backlog in collaboration with the platform business stakeholders.- Worked directly with platform customers to assist them in the design of their integration with the platform and to understand their needs for new features.- Selection of 3rd party and open source products to full fill system requirements and accelerate time to market.

Responsible for advancing the overall architecture for the server side subsystems for a medical image archive (PACS). Designed new features for the subsystems related to DICOM intake, patient matching, remote monitoring, persistent storage, and disaster recovery. Planned and prioritized refactoring of legacy components to improve uptime, performance, and the ability of the system to be remotely supported. Responsible for mentoring and overseeing the technical growth of the software developers. Reviewing IHE profiles and planning features to adapt the product to the meet the requirements of the relevant profiles.
