I now have 20+ years of corporate finance experience, with 14 of these years in a variety international environments as a global finance leader. I have a strong passion to take on new challenges as well as experience new cultures. Adaption and being able to change has been a strength throughout my international career.My focus currently lies on building and transforming the Microsoft Finance team to become Modern Finance leaders of the future. Leveraging insight from data is a powerful tool and has proven to be a great median for finance to deliver impact through insights in how we make use of our own technology as a finance team. Enabling people with the right data, at the right time, to deliver the right analytics is a constant priority for me to ensure we are always looking forward, not backwards. Finance has never played a more prominent role in organizations than today. I believe the future is even brighter as finance leaders reshape organizations, develop strategies and leverage their data to allow more efficiency or achieve performance goals. IT costs can no longer be considered just another P&L line item, it needs to be a strategic investment if companies want to compute in a constantly changing digital world.I also highly value being a champion for trust, living company values, and protecting company assets. Technology has been an enabler for proactive risk management, allowing Microsoft to embed compliance into the culture and accelerate the technology sector’s compliance journey.My other big passions are doing sports and travelling.
