I graduated with an Electronics Advanced Certification where I focused most of my studies in industrial automation. Learning to program PLCs, Motoman Robots, and other programmable controllers. I excelled in my classes at BATC and was often approached by teachers to take on technical problems and to assist them and help other students. I volunteered my ideas and time to help build the Robotics Program. I built trainers to provide a lab for future students to have hands on experience with the equipment they were learning about. The school was not going to be able to teach students certain parts of the robotics class unless they purchased eight I/O boxes at $1200 each. I researched, designed, and built I/O boxes for the school, saving the school about $10,000. Electronics has always fascinated me. With my father and a few of my uncles being engineers, I grew up having great resources to answer my technical questions. I have built all of my own computers since I was 12 years old, and I am very comfortable working with high tech equipment. One of my great hobbies is building engines and automotive performance. An old friend of mine owns Element Racing Inc. Together he and I have rebuilt many cars, and I have done some dyno tuning at his shop. This gave me experience using many different tools, Hand tools, power tools, soldering station with hot air soldering (ECU chipping / engine harnesses) and welding equipment (Mig and Oxygen/Acetylene).
