-Provide subject matter expertise in food safety risk assessment and regulation to field teams and restaurant operators for both Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin'-Assess new products, equipment, possesses and procedures - establish food safety requirements and compliance with sanitary codes-Establish an outcome based food safety restaurant operations review-Implement a national 3rd Party food safety assessment program-Update food safety training platforms and curricula in-line with revised food safety system, standards and process guides – online and physical-Measure, analyze and report restaurant compliance to food safety systems standards utilizing 3rd Party service provider-Monitor, review, assign disposition and resolve restaurant related complaints and incidents-Establish an improved restaurant self-assessment process and tool-Test and implement a national chemical program for BR stand-alone restaurants-Update the Food Safety System Manual to new standards, processes, guides and forms

-Lead and implement food safety education courses for staff, Direct Service Programs and Member Agencies-Develop and maintain tracking system for food safety training, ensuring compliance with sanitary codes and internal contracts -Conduct gap analysis of food safety and sanitation practices, provide recommendations to senior management for remediation-Evaluate the safety of donated food and determine dispensation-Respond to Member Agency food safety inquiries; when necessary initiate corrective actions including embargoes and recalls-Expand food safety information available on Web site-Develop multiple guidance documents for stakeholders to maximize the quality and safety of products and services-Perform safety and sanitation audits of Direct Service Programs and Member Agencies; create corrective action plans as necessary-Create nutrition education practical experience infrastructure and manage student intern projects
