Responsibilities included constructing criterion-referenced assessments, designing innovative and differentiated graphic organizers, initiating academic and behavioral interventions, afterschool tutoring and encouraging family involvement through frequent communication with parents.

Charged with the instruction, higher-order lesson planning and classroom management of three middle grades Social Science courses and two electives. Responsibilities included constructing criterion-referenced assessments, designing innovative and differentiated graphic organizers, initiating academic and behavioral interventions, afterschool tutoring and encouraging family involvement through frequent communication with parents. Raised content area mastery by an individual average of 24% as evidenced by an Impact on Student Learning Analysis (ISLA) conducted on Civics and U.S. History students. Participated in the School Advisory Council as well as the Pre-Aerospace Academy on campus.

Responsibilities included creating and implementing a family-style learning environment, teaching and implementing individualized treatment plans for up to 6 youth between ages 10-17, organizing, delegating, completing and submitting state and social agency required forms and paperwork on a weekly basis, being trained and certified in anger de-escalation methods for children with high behavioral issues.
