My primary focus in this role is serving as the technical project expert for the company’s critical cloud adoption project by bringing technical insights and proactive advice for delivering planned incremental adoption value and project leadership. By serving as the primary point of contact and leader of the cloud migration project, I am responsible for guiding all aspects of the project lifecycle that includes working with the CTO and director-level development leaders to bring clarity and processes to the project. The scope of my leadership responsibilities extends to technical expertise in cloud computing, project management, stakeholder communications, resource coordination, risk management, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and budgetary governance. Highlights to date include: Delivered valuable technical insights to QA/testing, live-site engineering, and release management to the cloud migration planning and migration process. Provided effective communication and transparancy in maintaining alignment between project goals and stakeholder expectations, building trust and confidence by providing weekly updates and preparing board of director presentations regarding project progress, risks, issues, and milestones. Developed risk mitigation work stream and review process for identifying potential risks and challenges and provided risk assessments and mitigation strategies for proactive management and resolution. Ensured robust testing and operational processes, ensuring operational readiness by identifying test use cases and observability gaps prior to turning on cloud environment.

During my tenure at Microsoft I held the role of Principal Technical Program Manager for two programs - Azure Health Data Services Platform and Azure Maps.As the lead program manager for the Azure Health Data Services (AHDS) platform, I owned the overall strategy and roadmap for the platform, including feature prioritization, resource allocation, Azure dev/ops, hygiene, planning, and backlog management, operational oversight, relationship management, platform services monitoring and OKRs, and Microsoft/Azure compliance.In 2017 I was hired as the first IC technical program manager for the Azure Maps product team to launch and support a first party service built from the ground up. My responsibilities in this role included Azure Maps compliance, site reliability, horizontal backend services, capacity planning, partner scaling, cross-functional collaboration, partner engagements, Bing Maps integration, and the overall Azure health scorecard.I also owned all aspects of Azure Maps compliance and collaborative partnerships with legal, privacy, and internal teams for defining SLA requirements (including SOC2 and FedRAMP).

Inthis role I directed global technology roadmap, processes, and operational excellence within the Retail Systems product imaging group. I was also the single point of contact for a 12-person development team and over 1,500 studio personnel.During my tenure in this role, I launched the first technical prioritization program that provided a single framework for driving workflow automation, lowering costs, improving development efficiency, and supporting technology requests from photography imaging editing studios and personnel worldwide.

I served as the sole technical program manager for two development teams responsible for Bing Maps realtime map rendering engine and system for publishing and serving Bing Maps aerial and Birdseye imagery. I was also the owner of the public and internal imagery APIs and backend imagery publishing system handling tens of thousands of requests per second and publishing and hosting petabytes of imagery.

I was also selected to partner with the Bing Maps lead architect in manaing the transition to Bing Maps from a traditional release, monitoring, an don-call process to a modern online dev/ops process.I was also a member of the Release Coordination Forum tasked with evaluating core system, release, and environment changes.
