Advanced Metal Works is a full service 8,500 square foot machine shop providing precision CNC machining, certified welding and pipe fabrication. Established in 1992, Advanced Metal Works has set itself apart as a world-class metal fabrication facility. Managing the facility that markets B2B and direct to consumers, I lead a team of employees through customer service, sales, scheduling and production tasks. The scope of this position extends to all aspects of the business and included: AP/AR, Payroll, Sales and Marketing, Shipping and Receiving, Purchasing, Analyzing / Forecasting cash flow and P&L responsibility.Responsible for quoting $100K + pipe fabrication projects where the focus was to reduce material costs while meeting our delivery schedule. This required selection of specialized stainless steel materials and vendors as well as placing blanket purchase orders allowing us to align material invoices to progress payments from our client and maintain cash flow in the business. Many projects required hundreds of pipe segments and fittings to be delivered for fabrication.

X Scream Inc. shares the same ownership as Advanced Metal Works and they effectively operate as a customer to Advanced Metal Works which sells them machined and fabricated components. X Scream designs and markets high performance engines and personal watercraft components for extreme action water sports. They are a leader in the niche global market for freestyle jet ski products.- Responsible for the management and strategic direction of X Scream Inc.- Promoted to GM after 14 months as Operations Manager- Established secure payment system for company website that increased revenue 5% in the first year- Responsible for developing marketing initiatives, analyzing cash flow and establishing budget parameters- Started cloud-based CRM which organized customer and product sales data - Developed part numbering system for our complete product line to simplify inventory ordering and forecasting- Implemented engine build scheduling system using a Gantt chart as a visual representation for techs to review overall shop demand and improve on-time delivery

Acted as a liaison between our district managers, our trainers and dealer principals to promote Assurant Finance and Insurance training solutions to improve auto, RV and power sports dealership performance.- Managed logistics and execution of training events- Hosted two day 20 club meetings three times per year where power sports dealer principals and department managers from 15 to 20 non-competing dealerships gathered to review financial composites. These proprietary financial composites from Assurant allowed dealers to review performance and compare it to benchmarks as well as other dealers in the 20 club group. The composite focused on profit centers including: Sales, Service, Part and Accessories and the Finance / Insurance department.
