Currently work with the Caterpillar client on their ecommerce sites. UI projects includes things from site enhancements (small to large), conceptual work, site redesigns, components building/documentation, design system maintenance. I work closely with UX architects and development team to creative innovative UI & UX solutions in a complex B2B2C ecosystem. Defining patterns while building a design system from the ground up along with the supplement libraries (recipes) outside of core fundamentals while keeping an atomic design mentality in mind. Initially my team began building out the design system in Sketch, and are now heavily involved in maturing our core design system and platform specific libraries in Figma. I have maintained a prominent role in the development in our design system from the ground up with helping adhere to accessibility and usability standards with a close working relationship to the ux architects. Some responsibilities includes: complex project level work; prototype creation, maintaining libraries (core design system and platform libraries), providing documentation/examples in the libraries, reviewing new components/variants with team members before adding to the library, reviewing peers work to make sure we are adhering to established patterns, using proper components from the library, as well as using resources like Baymard to inform decisions being made.

Being able to know the different between responsive and scalable and when to use either, and the limitations each present. • Working on pitch decks that extend beyond the email channel, and cover a broader spectrum such as email, social, app, site, signage. • Conducting kickoff calls and brainstorms sessions to provide creative input, as well as making sure the project/campaign goal is clear, and we are providing the most effective and painless user experience for the consumer.

Art Director/Designer for all facets of the brand. Responsible for creating the revised logo and branding to elevate its placement in the industry. New brand was flushed out into other deliverables for marketing purposes (event banners, signage, radio promotions, email marketing, in-store brochures, magazine and newspaper ads)

Produced layout for Ashley furniture ads.• US Music Corporation (6 months) - Packaging design & production with licensed products, mock-ups for trade shows and clients.

Worked extensively with factory dielines to create brand packaging & mock-ups. Maintained all specs for the corporate sell sheets, and kept site content updated. Also designed logos and graphics for many projects across the board. Packaging was the biggest part of the role, ranging from new designs, to working with brand guidelines for brands such as Hello Kitty, American Idol, Jensen, and more.
