Principal Business Analyst - Deliver
CurrentGlobal I.T. Deliver Lead responsible for global design, testing, and implementation of Medtronic transportation projects including Global Freight Management Systems using SAP XPS.Responsibilities• GFMS I.T. lead for global implementation of SAP XPS (Americas, APAC, EMEA)o Document requirements, complete functional specs, design enhancements o Multiple carrier integrations for label prints, track/trace, rate shopping, end of day processing (EDI)o SAP enhancements for cutoff management, truck management, shipment consolidation, and leave early logic • SAP XPS Expert for several transportation projects• Setup/Testing/Implementation of SAP XPS tools to minimize shipping costs o CSO – SAP Cartonizationo XPS routing guide and rate shoppingo time in transit integrations• Served as testing lead and/or cutover lead for multiple I.T. project releases• Complete functional specs and drive projects to closure with SAP development teams • Vendor/Contractor/Carrier resource management to complete deliverables on time• SAP technical configurations to meet transportation requirementso Plant setup (including DDLs, pack stations)o Ship point determinationo SAP Route determination • Work directly with global carriers to implement interfaces and label designs• Carrier interfaces using multiple integration tools o Connectshipo FedEx Ship Managero Carrier APIs using customized webmethods interfaces• Design and Test SAP BI reports for Global Freight audits and metrics• Complete validated testing documentation for FUT, UAT cycles • Implement DC shipping enhancements to streamline packing and label print processes• Knowledge transfer documents and deliver playbooks for XPS design
