• Gained experience with MALDI-TOF MS to analyze spleen samples from different experimental groups, including normal, rheumatoid arthritis-affected, and drug-treated mice.• Prepared and processed spleen samples by measuring sizes, immobilizing in OCT compound, freezing, and cutting into thin layers using a cryostat.• Utilized the HTX M5 Sprayer to ionize the samples, applying a specially prepared matrix for efficient mass spectrometry analysis.• Analyzed molecular distributions and identified critical data, including molecular formulas and m/z values, to investigate specific molecules related to disease and treatment effects.
