A material scientist with 10+ years of experience from industry and academia. Expertise in material characterization and fabrication of nanomaterials and biomaterials to solve complex structures and properties. My experiences include polymer thin film, liquid crystal, and lipid membrane. I have extensive experience in various characterization techniques such as x-ray scattering, AFM, SEM, DLS, GPC, FTIR, and UV-VIS to name a few. In my current role as a process development chemist at Digilens, I developed complex structures via inkjet printing and optical recording with polymer/liquid crystal composite materials for augmented reality displays. In my previous role at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, I have fabricated OLED polymer thin films by solution processes such as spin coating, slot-die printing, and inkjet printing and characterized by GI-XRD. I also collaborated with co-workers to design and develop a beamline station and ink-jet printer.
