Once upon a time, there was a very hairy dog. He was so hairy as a puppy, that we called him "Harry D. Dawg." He was a Coton de Tulear, a race also known as "the rare breed." But we didn't get him because he was rare. We got him because he was cute. People ask us all the time "what kind of dog is he?" We usually say that "well, he looks kind of like a Maltese."Today, with ten years of pawprints behind him, Harry D. Dawg is the proud mascot of Hairy Dog Books.
