Also served as the Board Chairman of Rockford Metropolitan Agency for Planning.➤ Provided mentorship in developing programming for R1 aligning with community needs and allocation of resources, working closely with talented staff, stakeholders, and a diverse Board of other community leadership.➤ Facilitated formation of a highly successful Land Bank program.➤ Longtime and vocal supporter of the Chicago-Rockford Airport Development & Expansion➤ Participated in strategic Infrastructure and Transportation planning to form the Transportation Improvement Program for both highways and transit.➤ Key leadership role in securing the RVC Advanced Technology Center location for our community.➤ Playing a key role in the extraordinary industrial and commercial growth of the City of Belvidere and Boone County, including completion of the Western Leg of the I-‐90 Project, and the opening of the Irene Road Interchange.➤ Elected by Board peers to eight (8) consecutive terms as Vice President of the Illinois Municipal League, serving on the Legislative Committee, and representing the IML on Governor Pritzker’s Broadband Commission.➤ Served as Executive Chair of the Community Action Agency of Boone and Winnebago Counties.➤ During Mayoral Tenure as Mayor of Belvidere (2013-2021), oversaw $26,773,914.00 in Public Works improvements, including Columbia Avenue Stormwater improvements (5 years ahead of schedule), construction of new Well#10, and upgrades and refurbishment of Downtown Streetscape and repaving of State Street.
