To provide project planning and project management services across the Community Venues and Services (CV&S) branch within the Lifestyle and Community Directorate.To manage the scoping, feasibility investigation, planning, monitoring and implementation of diverse, complex and challenging capital projects within the Major Sporting Venues (MSV) suite, with the potential to also provide assistance within the broader Community Venues and Services Branch.To contributes to the direction, planning and development of indoor and outdoor facilities across 5 Major Sporting Venues on the Gold Coast. The position is responsible for the asset custodian duties for various infrastructure assets (such as sports infrastructure, outdoor fields, buildings and public amenities) and is expected to contribute to the strategic and operational management (including new/upgrade works and renewals) of this portfolio.

Managing the process of defining the project goals and objectives on a new development, refurbishment and renovation works.Acting as the representative of shareholders in the co-ordination of all professional, technical, administration and other services to be provided.Prepare Consultants briefs, analyse proposals, fees submissions and make recommendations.Appoint Consultants and manage the process of achieving the goals and objectives.Time, Cost, Quality, Safety, Design and Stakeholder Management.Liaise with local authoritiesPCG reporting, budget forecasting, minutes of meetings and presentations.Contractual management between Contractors, Builders and any other respective party associated with the delivery of a projectParticipate in Budget, Cashflow and Cost management Work in Compliance with Statutory and Regulatory requirements, Oversee and manage documents that legally and commercially commit Clients Management
