Was actively involved in the execution of the project for installation of a new reactor (a project worth $ 5 million) in Continental Carbon for the production of soft grade carbon black with an annual installed capacity of 52,500 tons and equipped with latest technologies for efficient heat recovery. Was instrumental in the project for installation of inline Quench Boiler in Continental Carbon in 2010. It has led to a huge saving in terms of process water consumption and at the same time is generating high pressure steam that augments the power generation capacity of the existing captive power plant. Worked on the preliminary design of a proposed carbon black green-field project of Continental Carbon Company, coming in Vishakhapatnam, India.

Worked on “Numerical Simulation of Poly and Mono disperse Spray Flame Structures for Ethanol as a liquid fuel”. The main objective of my research was to obtain the most effective droplet radii corresponding to which optimum heat generation in a burner could be realised.
