Responsible for supporting database operations, maintaining uptime as per SLA & Project delivery for Oracle, MSSQL & open source databases for esteem client from Power domain having Global presence. • Responsible for day to day operations and project delivery for Database Infrastructure of around 2500 databases, team size of 10 consultants • Providing Weekly Operations Status to Project SDM and Global SDM,• Managing P1 call and Sharing RCA report to Problem Manager for preparing MIR.• Troubleshooting of critical productions issues• Productivity Saving for project through mode of automation and resource utilization, • Responsible for service quality improvements and for managing the impacts of Service Outages through minimal impact to business• Following Six sigma practices for improving operations quality• Conducting internal governance on service delivery against agreed upon internal SLAs• Accountable for assisting the Service Owners in resolving service issues raised by the regions.• Responsible for demand management of new service requests and project requests from customers• Single point of contact for all service related enquires from customer• Providing High availability solutions and implementation of the same through POC• Creating Service Improvement plans and implementing the same• Responsible for quality of service delivery for Database services • Following internal project tracking of metrics for project efficiency, • Identifies new service required for customers

Worked with Clover Infotech Pvt. Ltd. as a "AVP - Professional Services" and responsible for Service delivery of Oracle Databases from BFSI and telecom domain. Supporting 24/7 database operations and project management activities for Clovers esteem clients.As a delivery manager, I'm responsible for monitoring the production instances for potential performance/uptime issues and initiate corrective action to prevent performance issues and unplanned downtime in accordance client approved change management processes. Performing daily checklist for production critical databases & sharing the same.Monitoring the critical database server resources using HP openview.Checking the free spaces on mount points & tablespaces as per threshold’s.Verifying the backups logs.Taking out the stats pack report as and when required.Shutting down & staring the databases.Monitoring the DR database for sync with production.Coordinating with netbackup teams for tape managements as per their freezing policies.
