Leading new vertical of New Product Introduction

New challenge of setting up an entirely new NPI process by benchmarking with best industrial practices toning the same to the version which can be deployed easily for the start. Leading pathway to entirely new process vertical. It all started with managing NPI project with 3rd party design house and ensuring the deliverables are met.Responsible for Verifying the SOW document and getting the same approved. Verifying the WBS document and getting the same approved, Identifying the key deliverables and ensuring the same is met, Ensuring project is running as per plan, Escalating the delays, Fostering decision making, Coordinating proto build activities, Ensuring the availability of test plans, Ensuring material availability for proto build, Ensuring readiness for Pilot, SOP and after market.

The most crucial deliverable in this tenure was the Implementation of the new ERP - LN Infor where I was responsible for :1. Implementing the Quality Module. 2. Training the team members on the new system and creating training modules3. Hands-holding while implementing Infor EAM - for calibration system (which was handled by QA)In addition to this, I got a chance to get involved in the Business Excellence journey which our division has embarked on by providing inputs while document creation and being a part of the business excellence assessment.Following were the few system improvements/digitization projects delivered that leveraged data gathering and processing making the system efficient.a. Implementation of CAPA moduleb. Implementation of Supplier Debit Notec. Implementation of MOM systemd. Mobile App Q-Inspecte. Digitization of Rejection Systemf. Implementing Online 8D system

During this period I accomplished my academic goal to complete B.Tech, AMIE. Looking at the performance I was sponsored by the company for Masters in Quality Management from BITS Pilani. Even this was completed successfully in this tenure.Digitization became a key mantra with the changing industrial behaviour. Started handling supplier communications in additional to earlier responsibilities. Became TUV certified internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHS 18001.Some added Roles in KRA included:1. Handling digitization initiatives and monitoring the progress2. Conducting internal audits for HO and Branches3. Working on Implementation of new ERP - (QA module)

In this brief duration of 1 year, I got added responsibility to manage In-Process Quality along with Receiving Quality.Added following Roles in the KRA :1. Layout Inspection planning, scheduling and execution2. Change management for manufactured parts3. Planned Process Audit and closure4. Jigs fixture validation5. Scheduling calibration of measuring instruments and gauges

In this duration I have started managing the Receiving Inspection activities. I mastered myself in BaaN IV which was the ERP being used then. I was first in QA to get license for BaaN IV as I thought of managing Inspection activities in the ERP. Due to my cross functional exposure in the training period I knew the system's and people posting well which helped me getting things faster. During this tenure I also inducted myself for graduation program B.Tech Mechanical Engineering from AMIEFew Key Roles handled :1. Suggesting changes in Design and Change management,2. Creating process documents, 3. Multi-skilling of operators, 4. Supervision of Receiving activities5. CAPA6. Planning of Key aggregate for a product line referring to production plan, allocation of RM to vendor and setting priority based on marketing clearances (manufacturing planning activity)

During the brief tenure as a Trainee for 1 year :1. I got an opportunity to work in 4 functions, 3 mths each function including Purchase, Manufacturing, Design and Quality. 2. Sought understanding of each function which helped me to a great extent in my further careerAchievements :1. Designed Stand On Tow Truck base frame with the help of my Mentor (Design)2. Worked on onboarding suppliers to digital mode of payment NEFT (Materials)3. Setting up planning and monitoring of a subcontracting component from supplier (Manufacturing)4. Setting up mechanism to figure out First time Clearance of Final Product during customer Inspections (QA)
