Chandra C. Davis is a labor and employment law advisor and litigator. In the employment area, she has handled a full range of employment litigation in federal and state courts, representing employers and employees in lawsuits brought under federal laws. Ms. Davis has spent the last 9 years defending and prosecuting cases in the employment discrimination arena. She counsels national and international clients, including advising HR professionals and business unit managers; and developing litigation strategy and budgets for clients. She has strategically enforced and investigated single, systemic and multi-plaintiff discrimination claims.Ms. Davis has investigated and directed the investigation of over 100 cases for Fortune 500 manufacturing companies, nationally renowned hospitals, and directed EEOC investigations for the last 4 years. She has created a 200 page ethics and compliance internal investigation manual and a two-day PowerPoint training workshop for a $17 billion international client with more than 40,000 employees. She has trained HR managers, attorneys, and company managers on effective investigation techniques and enforcing company anti-discrimination policies.

Conducted research and advised appellate court judge on legal issues in preparation for oral arguments. Wrote more than 15 court opinion drafts and memoranda. Researched and analyzed a multitude of statutes; managed over 15 cases involving primary and higher education issues, ERISA, workers’ compensation, employment discrimination, and death penalty.

Researched and drafted more than 50 memoranda and court opinions deciding dispositive motions in various areas of law including: civil rights, patent, and contracts. Advised judge on a weekly basis regarding a myriad of criminal and civil issues.Managed 4 interns and assist in training junior law clerk.

Advised and managed over 50 student organizations and leaders. Developed two training manuals and implemented 5-10 leadership development workshops each semester. Provided financial oversight and counseled leadership of numerous student organizations.

Conducted 3-5 diversity training sessions each semester. Designed and implemented a two-day recruiting visit for over 50 potential students. Supervised, trained and evaluated 4-6 graduate assistants and staff. Standardized and managed the operations of the Black Cultural Center and the Multicultural Center through drafting and executing two operation manuals.
