As a research assistant at PSPPR UGM, I worked under the instruction of senior research assistant in some projects/researches. For about 10 months part time worked, I had assisted in completing 2 projects, including the Yogyakarta Smart City Research and Rural Areas Development Plan of a regency in Kalimantan. My duties were to:a. Do field survey in the regency where the project took place along with senior research assistant to collect the primary and secondary data as analysis materials.b. Analyse the existing condition of the regencies according to the command of senior research assistant, completed with supporting images, graphs, and also maps.c. Prepare presentation and materials for meeting, and also design the presentation layout and cover.d. Cover for senior assistant’s duties when he/she was unable to complete the tasks, for example when finishing a progress report within a particular deadline, giving a presentation when he/she could not attend a meeting, etc.
