I am an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science at DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology). I have a strong interest in AI technologies, particularly those applicable within extended reality. Beyond the technologies themselves, I am also fascinated by the security and safety aspects associated with them, as well as the value derived from such technologies. In this field, I have achieved the following milestones:- As a graduate of Google's Machine Learning Bootcamp 4th cohort with specialized training in deep learning, I participated in Kaggle competitions, achieving great results placing within the top 5%. These competitions include the Nasdaq stock price prediction competition hosted by Optiver, a competition on the topic of Machine Unlearning sponsored by Google, and a Kaggle-hosted competition on predicting smoker status based on bio-signals. Among these, I secured 2nd place out of approximately 1900 teams in the Smoker Status prediction competition, and achieved results within the top 5% of participants in the Machine Unlearning competition. Building upon my success in Kaggle competitions, I was invited as a guest speaker for the 5th GMLB's Kaggle Talk.- I conducted research at the DIAG (DGIST Intelligence Augmentation Group) on crowd-sourcing strategies targeting the elderly population. I designed a method, mediated through a chatbot, to help the elderly participate more comfortably in the crowd-sourcing process and the research is still ongoing.- Through a Global Internship Program, I undertook a data analysis role at Startup Consulting Inc. Utilizing data provided by the Office Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC), I analyzed the impact of factors such as education level, work experience, and visa class on entry into the U.S. software job market. I learned and applied various tools including seaborn, matplotlib, and numpy for data visualization and analysis.- I led DLSG (Deep Learning Study Group) with 7 members. Over a period of about 6 weeks, I taught deep learning concepts learned from the GMLB and shared my knowledge with the group. Currently, I am involved in planning service development or side projects.My recent experiences, including participation in the Nasdaq stock price prediction competition, have instilled in me a passion for developing innovative solutions using novel tools such as RL.Although I was not engaged in XR-related tasks, I'm actively planning to delve into this domain gradually. Exploring XR and its potential impact is the next exciting chapter in my journey, and I'm eager to dive in.
