Chanta'l has health education and promotion, evaluation, storytelling, community building, and public health expertise. She has managed the adoption of innovative data-driven transformation initiatives and established and maintained collaborative partnerships at local, state, and federal levels. She has extensive experience with project management, continuous quality improvement, population health management, human-centered design, participatory evaluation methodologies, DEI and social impact practices, and ethical, asset-based storytelling principles. As a lifelong athlete and sports enthusiast, Chanta'l also specializes in coaching individuals to achieve their wellness goals by taking a holistic approach to health, focusing on nutrition and functional fitness modalities.Chanta'l earned her Master’s in Public Health and Population Health Management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is also a certified Volunteer Management Trainer, Conflict Transformation Facilitator, and DEI facilitator. Chanta'l has also acquired continuing education certificates in integrated marketing and communications and data visualization. She is a creative problem solver and passionate about social impact projects.As a program evaluator for the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Chanta'l combines her passion for data (mixed methods), equity, storytelling, and community. She firmly believes that stories are not just narratives, but sacred tools for diversity, justice, learning, truth-telling, and healing. This unique perspective on storytelling is a testament to her innovative thinking and dedication to community engagement. Before coming to UNC, Chanta'l worked at the University of Utah School of Medicine, specializing in teaching and learning methodologies, curriculum evaluation, data visualization, and cultivating positive learning environments.Orchestrator.
