MSc graduate with five years’ worth of experience in conservation and nine years overall within animal science and biology, gained from university studies field, and laboratory work, including working with renowned organisations such as Sea Watch Foundation. Held numerous research positions within both marine and terrestrial based conservation facilities, providing skills in leadership, education, and teamwork. Memberships include the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS), alumni of NTU and Durrell Academy, in addition to upholding a professional membership with The Marine Biological Association (MBA).Also experienced in a range of data collection and analysis methods such as excel and “R” software, with further skills in animal and conservation education including media communication. Experienced in marine mammal research including presence, absence, and behavioural data and further interested in research linking to the impacts of environment on species behaviour, reproduction and population size, amongst other interests. Current positions involve working in client care with Vets4Pets and working as part of a science communication for Sea Watch Foundation to help raise awareness about marine conservation issues.
