Hi, I’m Chantel, a Marketing and Engagement Manager for the Centre for Research in Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship (CREME) at Aston University and a friendly freelance marketer with a heart full of passion for helping small businesses thrive and grow. I have over a decade of experience working in marketing and event management roles, primarily in the B2B sector. My BA (Hons) degree is in Marketing and Event Management, and I hold a postgraduate Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Professional Diploma in Strategic Marketing, as well as having completed a number of other professional development courses.I’m a proud Brummie, bringing that Birmingham spirit and a sprinkle of Midlands charm to everything I do! Beyond the world of marketing, I’m a fierce advocate for equality, diversity, inclusion, and positive representation because everybody deserves to be heard, celebrated, and reach their full potential.When I’m not busy crafting strategies and campaigns, you can find me embracing the beautiful chaos of being a wife and mother of two. I’m still very much trying to master the perfect ‘balance’ between my career and motherhood, if that even exists?!.
