I currently serve as the Oahu 1st Platoon Leader at The Mission Continues, a nonprofit organization that empowers veterans to continue their service and lead in their communities. I have been volunteering with this organization for over a year, reporting for duty in my chosen hometown and facilitating local/virtual events and projects. I retired as Navy Corpsman from the Wounded Warrior Battalion Detachment Hawaii as the Medical Liaison Director. I carry 20 years of leadership experience in hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, tents, and research spaces where I managed multimillion dollar budgets, trained staff, answered phones, conducted interviews, and ensured quality compliance within safety programs, purchasing systems and readiness. As a veteran and a media professional, I have a diverse and eclectic skill set that includes social networking, web content, organizational leadership, and acting.My ultimate mission is to apply my talents, experiences and military training to serve others, inspire positive change to increase the quality of life, and foster collaboration and inclusion in the veteran community.
