The ecstatic intimacy towards Mathematics has led me to pursue a PhD in Applied Mathematics. And my PhD work involves developing a mathematical model to simulate the blood flow of a cerebral aneurysm. Key highlights of this project involves: - Creating the domain(mesh) created GMSH within Python. - Non dimensionalizing the Navier stokes equation and solving it on a bifurcation using the FEniCSx module through Python. - Evaluating pressure values for a given flow rate using multivariable minimization with the Nelder Mead method. - Discretizing the pressure space using affine transformations and then calculating the corresponding flow rate values. - Investigating into the related measurements such as Shear Stress, Normal pressure and pressure derivatives calculated using the solution. Moreover, Teaching and helping out the students in their academics has always been a familiar material for me.
