Charlene grew up in an off-roading family, enjoying annual trips to Dumont Dunes, Moab, the Rubicon and other iconic off-road destinations. Charlene’s first job was changing dirt bike tires at a motorcycle shop in Northern California. She worked upper retail management at multi-line Powersports dealerships for 11 years and in magazine media for 4 years before founding Bower Motorsports Media in 2009. She built a media empire using trending media and communication platforms supplying the backdrop for some of the most successful racers, events and companies in the 4×4 market.In 2016 Charlene turned her focus to champion for women in offroad. In 2016, Charlene hosted the 1st annual Ladies Co-Driver Challenge that was the backdrop for the Internationally recognized educational group Ladies Offroad Network. In a short 8 years she has had the opportunity to teach, impact and empower thousands of ladies while traveling across the US and Canada.With 30 years experience in the Offroad industry, Charlene has been recognized and awarded by many groups, including the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame. She has podiumed at all the competitive events she has participated in, including winning the inaugural Rebelle Rally and a 1st at the Baja1000. She continues to educate herself and participate in key leadership roles, including being a I4WDTA Certified Instructor and on the Board of Directors for Tread Lightly!In 2025, Bower expands her educational offering to include men, women and youth under the brand Offroad Exposed. Bower Power Hour will return with an educational focused. Both hosted by Offroad Education Foundation. She is also bringing back her coveted Shirt & Swag Club along with the store that features racers, influencer and brand merchandise.
